Cape Henry Collaboration

Cape Henry's Upper School Mixed Chorus perform a Brazilian song for all of second grade.

We learned how to make the sound of rain in a rain forest by rubbing hands, snapping fingers, patting legs, and stomping feet. Cool!

Finally, the chorus performed the full rendition of the Cape Henry Alma Mater...beautiful!!
The entire second grade was mesmerized!

I am picking out magazines to make a diorama about the Tropical Rain forests of South America.

Since we are studying South America, I decided to research the sports they play in Brazil. Soccer is the most popular.
